Lily Mountjoy -

Founder of Deaf Ghostly Paranormal Society/Team
Paranormal Investigator, blogger, web-comic, Adobe Photoshop artist and housewife.
She joined in April 2008 with Mid Atlantic Paranormal Investigation of Northern VA Area.(2 hours away from south)
Long ago, I never expect any ghosts around in Earth, I never thinking of it... But I know ghosts are only scary to be scared the people off. Until I saw Ghost Hunter appearance on TV program that I slipped my mind about that... I don't realized that my mind was coming back to old school, I remembered in my youth time that something... I remembered that Carter Hall dormitory (girls) I used to sleep in. I remembered everything but it never bothered. It did opened when I closed it by door. It kept open many times all night. I was unable to think it's "ghost" things in my youth time.
VSDB (Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind) 1836- all through of Civil War Era to WWII Era in hardship life. My father and my mother were there, my aunt and uncle was there. Main Hall is haunted. Many deaf people spoke many years that they are seem the spirits. All hearing people who in the offices won't buy the story-- Won't say the truth. I started Deaf Ghostly Paranormal Society/team, to make want it show and proof what we saw, and we can power to be telling the truth about it. I want it make work out with the paranormal society around the nationwide.
There are many afraid to tell us to know if it's real ghost out there. Deaf people are afraid because of this Christians, who don't believe in ghosts, as long they think it's evil. They controlled deaf people to get away from evil and keep it group in the Church. That's why they never understand about paranormal.
And I went to the haunted with MAPI 21 times- I am enjoying to learning from them. I am still keeping with them since then.
So I want to make this blog and travel some places, how experience to go some researching the histories- ancients, sacred sites, to find out what, what, where, reason of?

I want this Deaf Ghostly Paranormal Society/Team, and the future of Network...to keep up and support our needs of the old technology we can get... by the donation.

In Memorial of Billy Taylor Sr : My father

Billy C. Taylor Sr.
March 12, 1936 - October 4, 2008

My father was deaf- was passed away, 2 years ago. We (the family) are in activity adjust without him. We always depend on him because he has lots more experienced the leaderships and an rally activist for the Deaf Rights.
I admitted his work on the deaf leadership and organization the club for the Deaf. He was always goes to meetings with deaf people from North Carolina and Northern VA and Stauntion, VA and Va Beach.

He born in Big Stone Gap, VA. where the coal family there. VERY country life. He became ill and turned deaf. He attended to VA School for the Deaf and bonded friend, John Rusnak - until they graduated in 1955. He worked at United State Postal Service for 17 years to retired. He has many through his skills from printings- publishing companies before Postal. He enjoyed his retirement since 2001 to 2008.
And he married my mother, Deanna, an originally from North Carolina but many generations years that was from Virginia- My mother's sides.
My father- was originally from southwest of Virginia connected from Mississippi- that which are unknown about- My aunt is still alive in VA Beach, VA that I am waiting for her "missing" found the Taylor-Davis generations...  Interested history.
Many families of his, told me that Jefferson Davis was part of the relatives of ours. That's why I need to find out more. I am waiting my aunt for her reply.
Go back about my father-- he grow very strong and good man. He was loved with my siblings, as 6 children- He never hate them. He always hugs with any enemy.- he wants peace, positive, forgotten.
Now last two years ago, I was in Northern VA with USANA meeting- I got my pager rang, and informed me that my father passed away.

My mind was lost, speechless and drive home, I turned my brain go back to my vision of the past... with my father where I grow in. Many memories. I hold up of my tears.
I felt that I am something angry -- It's God. He took my father away.  I keep saying... "God take my father away" ... like my grandma did.
Left - Mary E. (Poole) Wilkinson (my great-aunt)
Right - Virginia Poole Duncan (my grandmother)
Photo about 1925's
 They were deaf siblings.

They were wonderfully attracted with work hard for the Deaf people, like my father did. That's why Ricky Aka: Ridor9th followed up continuing. I love about my grandmother, I wanted her to live forever until I die. I can't do. She passed away in September- 1987. All of us very hyped out and very high emotion without her by gone.
How true.
Again, go back to my father's story.---
When he passed away. We felt we are still on 'tornado' with an adjust without him. My father knows something, sound like he DID NOT "left" her there in the house. My mother told me that his spirit still around and waiting. Something happens to her, my mother thinks he did poked her and woke up and look out... she found out her oxygen machine has been turn off.  Seem so her cat jumped up and turned off the oxygen machine by accident.
Sometime happens to her again, he will do poke again...because something are not finished in the family.
We didn't bury him yet. It's cremated, and put it into a urm box and top on the TV set... that's why he is still there and around in the house by a spirit.
I feel him. I know he is around in the house and watch over my mom everyday and every night... he will poke her again something wrong.
Bless him.

October: The Common of Halloween Events and History

VERY speical event of the month- There are the harvest events and a honorable the dead of the special month.
Halloween is an annual holiday observed on October 31. Its has roots in the Celtic Festival of Samhain (the people who left from Roman Empire to became of "Gaul" people in Europe) Gaul is the Western Europe where the French, Germans, Belgian, and half of England near the sea in 3th century BC.
That today largely a secular celebration.. Common Halloween activities include trick-or treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, carving jack-o- lanterns, ghost tours, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunting attractions, committing pranks, telling ghost stories or other frightening tales and watching horror films.

There are many haunting attractions near you:

Best offer that I know about this experienced of the haunting attractions-- I went to Kings Dominion at Doswell, VA and Busch Gardens are the best haunting attractions. But best offer very reasonable prices is at your local, or your rural (country) where it was show of haunting attraction at the billards at the road on the country road or city road instead expensive event like in Kings Dominion have.
As long as I found out the best haunting attraction is at The Knott !!!---
http://haunt.knotts.com/  Knott's Berry Farm
8039 Beach Boulevard
Buena Park CA, 90620
(714) 220-5200
$50 dollars each ticket.

But you can do about other place that would more cheap and reasonable!

Another place in real life of the haunting sites are dangerous. Don't do try at home!
Enjoy the event!

A Trip to Moundsville, West Virginia-- November 4, 2010

That you can see it look like. But for our paranormal investigation is not for event. That is only private group that we go there...
We will have some old equipment that where the basic what we have. Laura, our hearing friend just got new UV digital camera, she will teach me to do make photos with look night vision. she paid $115.00 from ordered last month. Lucky her. And, she is trying to make save money for Infrared thermal... that is not easy to save. I want MAPI to do the work very best in this top of the rank from other paranormal teams in nationwide.
Right now to the Deaf Ghostly Paranormal Team can do the same! I hope you all can donate and support our challenge for the all of Paranormal Network.

Now, It's next trip is Moundsville, WVA. I am very excite to go up there- but I wish I can buy for Class III Green beam laser... with set up camcorder stand down - only 42 dollars. But I don't have any money to spend. I am only saved for trip by gas and hotel (maybe). When we are finish, I will post you up to date where I am going on track in the penitentiary and will put some photos on this blog- to let you to see and enjoy the news.
All I always need are:

Full Spectrum HD Video Camera Ghost Hunting is about $300 dollars. With "Shadow" lights is about $50 dollars...

Visited at Appomattox Court House: Lee and Grant's End of Civil War- October 11, 2010

General Robert Lee and General Grant- April 9, 1865  --  Where Grant sat down this chair.
Lee sat and write a signed for surrounded  of the Civil War.

You see that a house was used to be jail house.
I went upstairs and go left door on the "left window" 2nd floor.
I got loud tapped on the jail room with a old bunker bed (wooden) but it's nailed in from a wooden bunk bed. I tried to move it a bunk itself, but it's nailed.
I got one loud tapped by itself.
I tested with tri-field and it was not any spiked.

And, I asked the Park Ranger about "is that this place haunted?"  Park Ranger told me "None. In the history, of that Appomattox Court House in 140 years nobody bloodiest or killed in battle or anyway. "
As I am confused..?
Is that something Park Ranger don't want to tell me something about? I see that one of the place, name Peers House... that which the canons are in practice, one accidently got killed... name
Hiram Clark. He was hit and exploded from the canon by error.
And, seem that Park Rangers not want us to know about that Jail-house that has been haunted? Because I got 'loud' tapped on the 'nailed' bunk bed?

I will return to Appomattox Court House again... next time?

Antietam: 23,000 Civil War soldiers killed - 148 years ago- It's never forgotten place

The Bloodiest One Day Battle in American History
2300 soldiers were killed, wounded or missing after twelve hours of savage combat on September 17, 1862. The Battle of antietam ended the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia's first invasion into the North and led to Abraham Lincoln's issuance of the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation.

I went to Antietam last September 16th 2010. It's an anniversary- 148 years by next day. We got there only 6 of 3- 3 people who not come due to the storm. We went with the State Ranger as a night guide, We seem okay about the storm- until the thunderstorm about 12 midnight we left by go home.  I can't return to Southern Va so I joined Laura, the MAPI team in Sterling, VA. She's hearing person and very awesome and neat person. I don't feel like real strange to her. I am happy to have her as my good friend, as part of MAPI family.

Back to that Antietam-  It's difference...
Yes, 23,000 Civil War soldiers must be greatly in sadness and lifeless- and it's haunted, as same as in Gettysburg, PA. about 46,286 both of Union and Confederate Army killed. At Gettysburg they were fought for 3 days row.

We (6) went to the Dunker Church and found that my Tri-field is activity about appeared of '3 to '4 during Greg Vacca and Phil in this house during I was sitting and looking at the dark.

Inside of the Dunker Church...
We rode to go little north, near the farm- the corn field. That's where the soldiers fought and died on this place. We walking a block or two, in the dark with no lights around exactly our flashes, and our cameras.
Left: Susan, Laura, Phil.
You can see two eyes glow on right side... we did not sure about it. LOL. That on grass where the soldiers died on this spot... from upper and down picture.

That's where we walked into a path of this spot that night.
Very old fences anywhere.
And, here is the video I tried to do with Tri-field..

That's very suddenly sad about Civil War where the brothers and cousins killed each other over the victory, that's worse thing that not understand the matter- the history of Civil War were toughly time here.

There are open for public for you to go Antietam- National Battlefield Park and enjoy to drive around and walk some points, there are all signs where the soldiers laid on.  There are some honorable tombs. Please do respective  with the "scared" sites that you step on it.

You can ask the Ranger for interpreter to explain you about these history site. They would be prepared for you to do so. And fund it for this park- there are some improvement and under construction.  There is tourism center, of course!

The Visitor Center address is 5831 Dunker Church Road, Sharpsburg, MD 21782
