History of Grottoes Park, Virginia: Grand Caverns

207 years old 

In the history- The Grand Cavern of Grottoes found in 1802, by Bernard Weyers. 
Since the problem was mess up with the Civil War through this place of Shenandoah Valley. That is the middle of the Valley from Blue Ridge Parkway and the Valley &Ridge Mountain, near the Appalachian Parkway Mountain - in Virginia. 


I went to Grottoes since 19th times by annually for the Grottoes Grand Caverns for the Deaf Reunion in every year of August. 


Until now I don't know and not realized that's full of haunted site.  I was just found out last August 6th at the reunion- a friend name Faline, and she told me that's haunted site. So I returned home and trying to researching on the internet through and there are nonsense of the news about it. But I will still research ongoing.


I understand that there are undocumented news and the records and I will trying to go back again to the Augusta Historical Society about the Grand Caverns of Grottoes Park. 


I got new downloaded on my ipad2, for the Ghost Radar Class and directing hot spots and words appearance-  So freak out. "depression", "spirits",  "suicide", "dirty" and last, when Faline left home around 5 pm, and I alone with other old classmate, I left my Ghost Radar Classic and word appeared, "Robert" on this spot. 
I was asked who was Robert?  (Freak me out.) So I closed my ipad2 for a while. 
There is the "river" near a grand cavern. Faline told me that a young woman hung from the bridge, about 20 to 30 years ago. But no information about it- and there are another "old graveyard" fence on the across road, too. I am unable to go across over there and check it out yet. I was not actually thought of it. I was no time to do my time all day at the reunion. I kept chat and chat and chat with old classmates from Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind, Staunton, VA (1839) the reunion attended about 245 people this year. 


As I know of the story of 1930's President Herbert Hoover ordered the government to take over the Shenandoah Valley to become of Shanandoah National Park to creation of the Park.  And that is why Shenandoah Valley Communities were lost their homes in 1930. The government and the farmlands were the problem through time by Depression Era. The information may be link :

To Gottoes Park may be part of this issue, to lost the homes- forced by government and to give up the homes that never want to leave the farmland the people loved. Most of suicide in this Grottoes Park? 


There is possibly have some allowed the tents to sleep in the Grand Caverns Park that you need to ask the Park Ranger to see if you can pay or nothing about the tent to stay on this park, and give a shot to investigation?

Are you going to Scare-a-Cuse?

There is biggest chance for you to go there. Why? There will have special party for the Zombies contest on Sept 10, 2011- on Saturday. I am thinking and thinking what do I do about the dress up for the Zombies? I don't know what else I can take?
I will checking it out with the internet to see if they have best zombies to fix by F/X make ups? Hm... I don't crazy about the Zombies... thing.
I wondered if are you interested to go there, please, please, please let me know... I would be more delighted.
I am very worrying about myself to go "alone" on this weekend at Scare-a-Cuse?

Never say: "I will go with you that's promise, I will go with you." it's big excuses.

Most time in very tense and bad excuses about "going" that never promise to a friend- unless it's reasonable.
It's kinda of disappointed thing some people has been changed the subject:
In my reunion- I met that person who wanted to go to the convention or the haunted place, it was very excited talk about 'the plan'...
When we spilt home, and talk about still a go. I applied the registration to VIP Pass and meet some people that's important to be questions and answers about the paranormal and ghost technology equipments and the blog news for my people in America. My challenge is that "deaf can do it"
Now I am very lots of patience and positive myself and little understand and feel disappoint with someone who changed the subject, who informed that "not going" by last minute, for this September for the Convention.
I will go alone to go there and do the research and experience with the paranormal network matter...
I've reserved the hotel for two days alone. I did my best to ask anyone to go there, and never been there for me.
I am still a go for myself and be serious researching the discovery of paranormal world.

Please don't do any ripped off with people's feelings...about the plans. Some people always bad habit of high hope for anyone to go with.

The Convention of Scare-a-Cuse: September 9, 10, 11, 2011

 

Hello again!

I want to share with you all that I will going to see the convention and the few celebrity paranormal investigators from SYFY channels: Jason Hawes! I will be VIP pass and it means I will be front seat and will ask some questions for Jason Hawes about the paranormal. Any questions to ask, Please email me and I will question him in the meeting where he will be lecture. 

I hope that would be worthy to go and be VIP pass that means I would take good chance to meet Jason Hawes on Saturday night party and the early Zombie contest to play to win. There is VERY possible to meet some celebrity by horror movies, the horror directors, and actors and actresses!! 

I think that's left of the tickets you can catch up before too late!  And you can go with me and go have fun and chat with the people at the hotel and the convention.

I already requested the convention about interpreter for the deaf for all day by Friday, and Saturday and one night (Saturday) at the celebrity party. 

I can't wait... I can't wait... but... what about you? Are you coming to join us?
